Disaster Assistance and Recovery Webinar
Insight on the Disaster Recovery Process Results from BCLC’s July Workshop in Suffolk, VA
September 8, 2010
On July 14-15, BCLC brought together 70 experts from the business, government, and nonprofit sectors around the United States to better understand the disaster recovery process in communities. View preliminary results from the workshop.
The group took a number of surveys to shed light on issues like:
- What enables a successful recovery?
- What are the timeframes for recovery actions?
- Who is responsible for doing what?
- How do we develop a better handoff mechanism from response and recovery?
The Lockheed Martin technical team has analyzed the data and created a robust webinar presentation to showcase the results. The webinar will help you better understand the community recovery process and the unique differences in opinions among the three sectors.
